Category: Rescue
Summary: Zia is just over 11 months old and has been in rescue since she was 8 months old.In this time she has put on weight and learn't basic commands, she has been to training classes and has picked things up really easily, being young she can still get very excited but that really is part of her charm, she just enjoys life and if you give her a little bit of attention to her you have given her the earth. She enjoys running in the field and comes back when called (once she trusts the person calling her) when off lead she will keep coming back to you just to check everything is OK. When introduced to other dogs she is a bit timid and wary but really wants to make friends and play she is the same with humans, I would say she has been hit hard in the past as she will back off if you raise your hand a little fast, when she knows you will not hit her she wants to cuddle and kiss you, until you have to tell her thats enough, although she enjoys playing with other dogs it is human contact she craves. She will need ongoing training as up to 8 months she had no training at all, but the person training her will be loved beyond words as she enjoys this attention. She is not a fussy eater and will eat whatever you give her although she will not touch her food until you have told her it's OK, and you have backed away from the bowl
