Millie Moo's story

Millie Moo's story
The heart-breaking tale of Millie Moo, a rescued Cane Corso.
Anna posted pics of Millie Moo up on the FOCC and we fell for her hook line and sinker. She was small, cute and needed a whole heap of love and care bestowed upon her. I am lucky to have two magnificent Corsos with great hips, temperament - the full package. But I love the Corso and wanted to help one less fortunate than my own! I loved her from that moment I saw her. I spoke with Anna and with references supplied by others, Millie was ours.

Millie was due to come on the Tuesday. Terry was going to bring her down and we were all so excited. On the Friday she was having her hips x-rayed. Her movement was okay so I thought her hips would be alright. Poor Anna had to ring and tell me the hideous news that her hips were so bad that she needed new hips basically to have any quality of life. Battersea vets decided the best was to let her go while she was under GA. Anna told her we loved her and wanted her before she went.

Millie Moo was a victim of a backyard breeder, who put two dogs together, without doubt un-scored, then left her to wander the streets alone.

RIP Millie Moo we loved you so much even though we did not get to hold you. xxxxx
